Hillmorton Clarets U11 v Bedworth Eagles U11

The Clarets started the game very brightly and found themselves ahead within the first few mins with a brilliant Jonah goal after some Bergkampesque approach play from Ben.
Jonah added again with 10 mins on the clock again combining well with Ben.
The Eagles soon found their feet and scored before half time with a sweeping counter attack.
It should have been all square had it not have been for Fynn in goal, producing an outstanding double save that he had no right in saving.
In The 2nd half Bedworth really did come in to the game with their number 7 who caused all sorts of problems with his pace .
He levelled the score after a few holes started to appear in the Clarets defence.
Chances then started to come back for the superb Hillmorton pair of Ben and Shamus, with both coming mighty close.
Jack and Harry both had excellent games in the midfield. Harry T and Oskar also both outstanding in reading the game, Ben and Kyron were both perfect playing in behind the striker, Shamus.
Noah, as always, making sure the Eagles defence was always put under maximum pressure.
Cody and Harry A Both solid at the back. And Ollie was very bullish with his strength as always .
The victorious goal came from an inch perfect ball from the back from Kyron, latched on to by Jonah who gambled on their ‘keeper not being able to pick up the ball, to wrap up his hat-trick and a Man of the Match performance.
Fantastic all round team performances by both sides .
